What is Backup?

· Backup is to create a second copy of your data

· Backup is to prevent data loss due to system failure

· Backup data should be saved on other media, e.g. DVD or USB storage device


Why is backup important?

· Your data is likely to be lost in case of system failure

· System failure is difficult to predict and regular backup is important to safeguard your data

· Once Microsoft Outlook Archive feature is turned on, archived emails will not have server protection and will not be kept in server. Users need to take care of backup issue themselves

· Save Email server storage, there are 50 GB for each staff Office365 email mailbox
