2.4.1 View Submission Details

Click the Submission Title link to double-check the submitted file on Turnitin.

Check the Uploaded Time.
2.4.2 Open Turnitin Report

Once the Similarity Percentage updated, click to view the report on Turnitin.
Note
Report generation speed of the first four attempts depend on the paper size and the number of worldwide Turnitin users.
Note
When under the "pending" status, students can close the web browser and get back to Blackboard later to check the latest report status

Different Turnitin Assignment Settings which controlled by the Lecturer.
- Display Similarity Reports to Students : No
- Report Generation Speed : Generate reports on due date

Students will be redirected to the Turnitin Feedback Studio interface.
2.4.3 View Sources

Match Overview : a breakdown of all the matches that have been found in the paper. Ordered by similarity % from the highest to the lowest. Each match has a color and a number attached to it.

Click one of the sources.

Details of the source, if it is a "Internet Source", click the link to view the webpage.

Wait until a message "Submission Complete!" is shown.
Students can also click the "Full Source View" button to have the full source text on the side panel.

Details of the source, if it is a "Student Paper", NO content can be viewed.

All Sources : All of the sources that have been found are displayed and sorted by highest percentage match.

Source from Student Paper or Internet Source
Note
If there are multiple Turnitin Assignments in the same Blackboard course, the same student’s submissions to other Turnitin Assignments (in the same Blackboard course) will be excluded by default.
2.4.4 Apply Filters (when necessary)

Click the "Filter" button on the side panel.

Check the box "Exclude Quotes".

Press the "Apply Changes" button.

View the result.

Click the "Filter" button on the side panel.

Check the box "Exclude Bibliography"

Press the "Apply Changes" button.

The filter enabled by a student will be applied to Turnitin Report in student's view only, while NO change to teacher's view.
Note
When downloading the Turnitin Report, the filter "on / off" will be shown on the last page of the Turnitin Report.
