28.1 Release content with datesTeachers can release an item on an exact dates, until a certain date, or during a defined period of time.
After creating the conditional availability rule, teachers can choose whether the item appears on the Course Content Page when students do not have access.
Visible to Students To show the content to students before they can access it. Students see the conditions they need to satisfy before they can access the content.
Hidden from Students To hide the content when students don't have access. When selecting this setting, the conditions don't appear to students. The content appears only when they can open it, just as other pieces of content in the course that are set to Visible to students.
28.2 Release content based on performanceTo release an item when students achieve certain scores on an item or gradebook column in the course, teachers need to select specific grade item and set the grade requirement (custom range can be set). Note Please refer to the Blackboard Official Guide for details: [Blackboard Official Website] Release content based on performance
28.3 Release content by users or groupsTeachers can allow certain students to have access to specific content while selecting one or both release conditions. Note
28.4 Release content in sequence within Learning ModulesTeachers can use learning modules in the course as a container for organised collections of content. Modules let students navigate from one content item to the next without distractions or extra clicks. Teachers can only set the Sequence condition if students haven't started working in the module. Teachers can remove the condition after students start working, but teachers cannot reapply it.
For more about using Learning Module, please refer to 15.2 Learning Module.
