The Course Activity report helps teachers understand how well students are performing and how much they are interacting with the course.

Note Overall mark and hours in course update every 24 hours.

Course Goals reports analyze how course content aligns with institutional goals and to assess student progress. 

• Course Goal Coverage Report : provides goals coverage for a single course, including both covered and gap values for all associated curricular areas, as well as a breakdown of course items that have been aligned to goals.
• Course Goal Performance Report : provides how a course meets selected goals, including overall averages and detailed breakdowns for individual students and goals.

Reviewing student activity helps inform decisions in academic disputes and aids in troubleshooting. Teachers can use the student activity log to check what a particular student did in a course. IP addresses are included for assessment submissions and drafts.

Note The student activity log can goes back to the past 140 days, any information older than that will not be stored.

Teachers can see when students opened, started, and submitted tests and assignments with the Student Activity report.

The report provides analytics for the students’ performance in course. You can view a student’s hours in course and changes in overall grade from week to week. The report makes it easy to see when a student’s hours in course drops or if a student begins to earn lower grades. Report data is updated every 24 hours in the early morning.

• Identify struggling students, students who are improving over time, or students whose grades start trending downwards
• Message students who are falling behind and encourage them to increase their course activity
• Congratulate students performing well in your course and ask them to be mentors
• Set up an appointment with all students in the course to follow-up on strategies to improve student performance and activity
• Download the table view to a CSV (comma-separated values) file to analyze the data with other tools or share student reports to other faculty members if needed
• Download the line charts as a PDF or image to share information with other instructors or mentors of the course
