20.1 Create Discussions

1 On the Course Content Page, select the "Plus Sign" wherever the discussion to be added.

2 Choose "Create".

3 Choose "Discussion"

4 Input the Discussion Name.

5 Choose the visibility : Visible to students / Hidden from students / Release conditions.

6 Input the Description if any.

7 Press "Save" Button to confirm.

20.2 Discussion Settings

  • 20.2.1. Display on Course Content page
    The discussion can only show on the "Discussion" tab, but not display on the Course Content page.
  • 20.2.2. Post first
    Hide discussion responses until students respond to the discussion, can help students cultivate their own ideas on your initial discussion topic.
  • 20.2.3. Prevent editing
    Students cannot edit or delete published posts.
