In accordance with the PolyU's policy on promoting academic integrity, CPCE has subscribed to Turnitin™ as a tool to perform plagiarism detection and prevention service which is widely used in educational institutions worldwide.

Feedback Studio (http://turnitin.com/en_us/what-we-offer/feedback-studio) is one of the powerful features of Turnitin, which allows teachers to perform similarity checking, online feedback, and rubric grading tools for evaluating student work.

After integration of Turnitin into Blackboard Ultra, teachers can simply create a "Turnitin Assignment (via Content Market)" and access Turnitin features directly on Blackboard Ultra.

New feature "AI Writing Detection Capabilities" : Turnitin's AI writing detection capability is designed to help educators identify text that might be prepared by a generative AI tool. Our AI writing detection model may not always be accurate (it may misidentify both human and AI-generated text) so it should not be used as the sole basis for adverse actions against a student. It takes further scrutiny and human judgment in conjunction with an organization's application of its specific academic policies to determine whether any academic misconduct has occurred.
