Archive a team when it is no longer active, the conversations and files in the Teams become read-only once it has been archived. Both owners and members are still able to access the archived Teams. ITU will handle the Teams archive for the Teams created by the School Data Sync when semester ended.

Note Generally, the Teams created by the School Data Sync will be archived on the date of announcement of assessment results. When necessary, Teams owners (i.e. teachers) can restore the archived Teams.

Note The archived Teams by the School Data Sync will be added the prefix "Expmmyy_" on the name.

Note Teams created by users manually (i.e. NOT created by the School Data Sync), the Teams owners can Archive or Restore Teams when necessary.

 

Archive Teams

 

1 On the Teams of the account @common.cpce-polyu.edu.hk, click the Edit icon.

2 Choose "Manage teams".

 

3 Click the Option icon for the active Teams.

4 Choose "Archive teams".

 

5 This team was archived, so you can't make any changes.

Restore Teams

 

1 On the Teams of the account @common.cpce-polyu.edu.hk, click the Edit icon.

2 Choose "Manage teams".

 

3 Click the Option icon for the archived Teams.

4 Choose "Restore teams".
