Course activities and resources can be imported from another course that taught by the same teacher (teacher has editing permission in both courses). Therefore, teachers can re-use the course content and edit the dates for the new semester (instead of re-creating ones).

Note User Data in the activities CANNOT be imported, for example, user data of News and Announcement, Forum and Assignment.

Note Teachers might hide the Destination Course first, then performce import. Make the course visible to students after re-orgainising the course content on the new course.

 

1 On the Destination Course Page, click the "Actions" icon on the top right corner and select "Import".

 

2 Choose source course OR enter the source course short name to search.

3 Press "Continue" button.

 

4 Choose "Include activities and resources".

5 Choose "Include question bank" if there quiz in the Source Course.

6 Press "Next" button.

 

7 Select the activities and resources to keep.

8 Press "Next" button.

 

9 Check the activities and resources list.

10 Press "Perform import" button.

 

11 The import completed, press "Continue" button.
