Tip 2: Import Polls From a CSV File
Import function is now available in Poll Everywhere. You can follow the steps below to import your polls from a CSV file.
1 Visit your My Polls page.
2 Download a CSV template (if necessary).
Open the CSV template:
3 Rewrite the types, title and options.
- Activity: Fill in "Poll".
- Types: Fill in Multiple Choice, Word Cloud, Q&A, Rank Order, or Open-ended.
- Title: Type the question for you poll.
- Option: For Multiple Choice and Rank Order polls, add more option columns if you need more choices. You can also add *** in front of the option to set as correct answer. For Word Cloud, Q&A or Open-ended polls, just leave the column blank.
You can follow the examples below:
For Multiple Choice Poll without correct answer:

For Open-ended Poll:

4 Select a file from your computer after you created the CSV file.
5 After you upload the file, you can edit the information and set the option as correct answer by
click the tick or from the CSV file.
6 Click "Import".

If you
successful imported polls, you can find the poll in your
My Polls page.
