The template poll allows teachers to change all the settings one time, on one poll. Then teachers can apply those freshly-polished poll settings to all your future polls.

Note 1 We recommended the teachers to set up a new poll as a template poll. In this template poll, please make sure to set the visual settings, response settings, and lock settings. It’s best to use a multiple-choice type, so teachers can choose the look of the labels and bars too.

1 Log in to your Poll Everywhere account and click your username.

2 Click "Settings".

3 Click the "Poll Settings" tab

4 You can see the "Template Poll". Click "Set".

5 Select your prepared template poll.

6 To apply visual and response settings only to future polls, click "Apply to all future polls".To apply that poll’s visual settings to all existing polls, click "Apply to all past, current, and future polls".

Note 2 This is PERMANENTLY change for all your existing polls and no UNDO.

7 After finished the setting of the template poll. Please click "Save".

Update the Template Poll

If teachers would like to update the template poll, please follow the steps below:

After finished the setting of the template poll, refer to 1, 2 & 5, and click "Save".
