Tip 2: Visualization of Open-ended Poll

Open-ended polls allow audience responds freely to the poll, with anything they wish. Open-ended poll responses can be displayed in a variety of ways, including a live text wall, Word Cloud, cluster and ticker. Teachers can select how you would like your audience's responses to be visualized.

Types of Visual Representation

1. Text wall

text wall

Responses show one by one vertically. Larger phases are supported.

2. Word Cloud

2

When you ask your audience to participate, suggest they submit just one word. That way the word cloud doesn't end up with orphan words separated from larger phrases. The word will enlarge as responses repeated.

3. Cluster

3

This visualization is suggested to show larger phrases of audience's responses.

4. Ticker

4

String looping to display responses.
